As part of the Westlausitz Regional Growth Core, we are committed to establishing new companies in our numerous industrial areas. The excellent transport infrastructure and our quick processing times have already led to the establishment of reputable companies. The close co-operation with Lausitz Technical College has created many advantages businesses and students, and scientific know-how has combined with innovations.
But life in and around Senftenberg does not miss out either. Excursions to the zoological gardens, the fort complex with the castle, or the Senftenberg inner city are all an experience. Visitors and locals love Lake Senftenberg with its amphitheatre, watersport centre, family park and comfortable camping ground. And where else but the Senftenberg ski hall can you go skiing even in the middle of summer?
